History


Over the last century many thousands of migrants from Palmi R.C, Italy chose to make Australia their new home.

The Association Palmesi Nel Mondo Australia Inc was incorporated on the 5th of December 2005 by a group of like minded committee members led by Mr Antonio Bagala.

The Association has had great success in bringing people together through social functions and other activities on a regular basis.

One of the highlights has been the committee’s initiation of a Sister City relationship between the Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia and the city of Palmi R.C, Italy. The relationship was documented, signed and celebrated in November 2010 with over four hundred members and dignitary signatures representing Palmi, Fairfield and New South Wales.

Objective


The objective of Palmesi Nel Mondo is to create an enduring Association, that people of Palmesi descent are able to join as members.

The principal activities of the Palmesi Nel Mondo Association will be to promote contact amongst Palmesi descent, through social and cultural activities.

 

Monument

Membership


To be qualified as a member of the Palmesi Nel Mondo Association, members need to be;

A) From the Bloodline of Parmisano and of good faith and character, or

B) Married to a person of Parmisano Bloodline and of good faith and character.
